Leiden Open Monument Days 2026
More than thirty historic buildings open free of charge during Leiden’s 40th edition, with tours and activities.

Resilient heritage
On 12 and 13 September, visitors can enter buildings that are normally closed or restricted. The weekend combines monuments, tours, choirs, music, walking and cycling routes, and children’s activities.
Most visits run Saturday 12:00–17:00 and Sunday 10:00–17:00. Some popular buildings may require advance booking; check the final programme shortly before visiting.
